Dr. Chakshu Bansal
Author, Researcher, Educator
Dr. Chakshu Bansal is a globally renowned physiotherapist specializing in musculoskeletal disorders, pain management, and sports injuries. Holding a Ph.D. (USA) and a Master’s in Physiotherapy, she is a Certified Dry Needling Practitioner (South Africa), Certified Manual Therapist (Africa), Certified Taping Master Trainer (Canada), Certified Pilates Instructor, and Certified EMG-NCV Therapist (USA). She is the founder of Tapedia, the world’s first encyclopedia of taping techniques, and co-developer of KinetiKinetic Manual Therapy (KKMT)—Asia's first complete school of thought in manual therapy, now integrated into the national curriculum (Ministry of Higher Education, Cameroon). She has trained over 20,000 physiotherapists, many of whom work with elite athletes, Bollywood celebrities (Amitabh Bachchan, Aamir Khan, Salman Khan, etc.), and Indian sports teams. Dr. Bansal has served as Lead Physio for the INBL Pro 2025 Basketball League. With 16+ years of experience, she pioneered the Pain-Free Zone (2009) and continues her mission through Arunalaya by Dr. Chakshu. A three-time world record holder, Dr. Bansal is also a prolific researcher with multiple published research papers in national and international journals. She is the author of six books, including Magical Manus and A Practical Guide on KKMT, and continues to revolutionize the field of physiotherapy through education, innovation, and research..
